• 3 cups whole wheat flour
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1 cup oat flower
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1-1/2 hot water
• 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
• 1 tablespoon molasses
• 1 can of canned pumpkin

Preheat oven to 350
Mix flour, oats and baking powder in a large bowl. Mix hot water, peanut butter, pumpkin, and molasses then add to dry ingredients. Knead dough until firm. Roll out to desired thickness and cut with whatever is on hand -rim of glass or cookie cutters. Vary the size depending on the type of dog.
Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
Let cool and serve. Keep in fridge.
THESE COOKIES CAN ALSO BE USED AS YUMMY BIRD TREATS. For birds you can add fresh greens, various veggies, nuts, pellets or use corn meal as the base. For a good source of omega 3′s add in 2 tbsp of flax seed meal.
