PET INSURANCE?

Does your pet have HEALTH INSURANCE? pet insuranceWe recommend looking into a policy from one of the many available companies. Pet insurance can literally be a lifesaver in a surgical or medical emergency and will greatly reduce the stress and burden on your family during this time.

This is a good ARTICLE from the American Animal Hospital Association that lists several companies and does a side-by-side comparison.

Another resource for pet insurance is united pet care. Often offered through your work but also available for the individual. We accept United Pet Care and have seen a lot of happy pets and clients with this company.

OUR POLICY:

Our pet are very important to us. They enrich our lives daily and provide us with a unique form of companionship.  In your absence your special friend deserves the best caregivers you can find.  This, along with a clean, safe environment will ensure your special friend comes home happy and healthy.  We know that pets do not have the same concept of time as we do, but the coming of nightfall ad their hunger remind them that something very important is missing from their routine.  That “something” is you!  We know we can’t replace you, but we can provide a secondary home with caring people, who will help relieve your special friend’s anxiety in your absence.

OUR FACILITY:

Feline Housing:

Feline condos are 3 feet cubes and are available with connecting rooms for house mates.  Each features a cool  calming color and a kitty perch shelf.  The kitty condos are separate from the doggie rooms and are enclosed in a quiet secure room with a comforting atmosphere and accommodations.

Canine Housing:

Two kennel sizes are offered:

1) Regular size  private space at 6 feet x 3 feet

2) Over sized private housing space at 8 feet x 3 feet.

All kennels are housed indoors with air conditioning and year around climate control.

Canine Garden:

We are now offering a canine zen garden with vibrant red canopy to provide shelter from the elements, bird garden with feeders to provide more interest and natural land-scaping for the true zen experience. This exercise yard has been developed for the comfort, joy and safety of your pet and each pet is allowed play time here 3 times daily while they are a guest of our kennel.

Exotic Pets:

Reservations are made by special arrangement and we request that you supply all your pets needs including any special caging, lighting and food.

A TYPICAL DAY:

Each morning begins by taking each pet into our new covered zen garden pet yard for exercise, play time, fresh air and potty time.  They enjoy this chance to stretch their legs and play.  While this is going on, their personal room is sanitized and fresh food, water and bedding are provided.

In the afternoon and again in the evening, the process is repeated, however all the feeding is done to your specifications.  What we provide; Beds are provided at no charge.  Crates, cages and stuffed bedding is not allowed as these can be ingested and can cause GI problems.  We do allow toys to accompany your pet, but please note it is important to mark your name on all toys.  We will do our bet to return them to you, but we cannot guarantee the return.  Our dedicated kennel attendants will carefully monitor your pet and will contact you with any questions or concerns.  A complimentary bath will be offered for short-haired pets visiting us for 4 or more days. Special grooming appointments can be completed while your pet is visiting. Please schedule with our pet beautician.
